Strange Origins

Cults to tattoos. Marketing to mayhem. Where did this bizarre woman come from?

Cami is a passionate artist with a love for tattooing and pyrography. Creating permanent art on someone's skin is truly rewarding to her. While she's had a diverse career in the corporate world (graphic design and art direction) tattooing & illustration are where her heart truly lies.

Cami’s art explores dark themes as she frequently works with bone and depicts imagery featuring macabre elements. She offers portraiture (but always with her own flair), custom tattoo-inspired and antique woodblock-inspired artwork as well as dimension pieces with shadow-box qualities.

After overcoming a temporary shoulder issue, she is now back at it and tattooing at Memento Mori Gallery & Tattoo in Lakewood (right by Casa Bonita! Cartman would be proud).

When she's not tattooing, she can be found conjuring up bizarre pyrography pieces in her basement (aka the Thunder Dungeon). She is inspired by artists like Albrecht Dürer, Gustave Doré, and Andy Warhol.

She lives in Colorado with her husband, son, and three furry pups— a tiny mutt, a lab, and a corgi.
